I haven't read the mindf**k series but I imagine this book is the closest to the plot of that series just not as dark, I'm guessing. 
Anyways this was a little slow in some parts. But I'm satisfied w the ending. I think ppl would enjoy this.

this prob woulda been a 4 star or 4.5 star if i didnt have this long period of not reading the story. but it's a unique story to me. wirh tones of sadness and being lighthearted. good read.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I wonder how long the next book will be. Drama drama drama. I finally got the audiobook back so i was able to finish. Being away from it for a while took away some of the good energy but this still ended with such intrigue and mess. This series is enjoyable. Reminds me of the blood like magic duo that I loved. I'm excited for book 3!

This wrecked me to be honest. I don't think I'll ever get tired of YA novels. There's so many gems out here!! This was an emotional roller coaster. I felt for the FMC real bad! I felt like she got blamed for stuff or painted out to be the one in the wrong and i just didn't get how. 
Anyways this was a good coming of age story. Lots of twisted family dynamics and love of figuring out self worth. Really good.

I wish i felt more with this one. I think it was too "ow stakes" for me? Plus, Ava was getting on my nerves. She wanted to he mad so damn bad. But i'm continuing to the next one in the series.
