This was a nice and easy read. As a standalone adventure its fun with a few interesting concepts and the looming time threat. However as a part of a series I found it to be a little disappointing, it barely connected to the previous two books, even as a prequel there was little information given and it didn't add much context to the original books.

This was a fantastic read, short funny and complex. It is impossible to dislike Murderbot who like so many of us is stuck trudging through his day to day life just wanting to be left alone and consume his media. Some great action scenes and bittersweet ending. I really enjoyed this read and can see why people rave about it.

This was a solid second entry into this story, I worried it might become less interesting once our characters moved out of Ember but I found that watching them struggle to grow outside the confines of their city interesting. I love Lina and Dune as a main characters they both have sweet perspectives and I enjoyed their stories separating somewhat to show the journeys they go on. I am excited to see if the introduction of electricity impacts the story moving forward.

Twilight for adults. This is a great take on this genre, Harkeness makes it her own and her attention to detail with the history aspects helps to give a lot of depth and realism to the world. Mathew and Diana are compelling characters both with their own unique perspective on the unfolding events. This is my second read through and I really enjoyed it, it feels like an elevated take on a genre I have read a lot of.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.
I enjoyed the premise of this book but found the prose to be very lyrical and descriptive. For me this was over the top to the point where there were times I didnt know what was being described due to the over use of this style. It also referred to specific street names around London almost constantly and as I am not familiar I often found myself confused and having to spend a large amount of time having to refer to the front map. Not a bad story just not for me as I never felt immersed.

This was a good story, it was easy to read with an interesting concept. The plot twist was fairly obvious but didn’t stop me from enjoying reading the book.

A short but effective collection of horror stories. The art was beautiful and made it all the better.

What an ending to an amazing series. I read this as soon as it dropped and was not disappointed. Sanderson does an amazing job of brining the story to a conclusion while keeping it open for the next books. Kaladin was again a standout in this series but my favorite had to be Adolin. I was hooked every chapter he had. I am thrilled with how this settled and eargerly awaited the next installment.
