Sexy, medium paced, mage/were match made in Heaven. Steamy, but with the perfect amount of plot and smut.

I genuinely didn't mind the pacing of the book, but I wish there could be more subtext to the jumps forward in time. Etc. Loved the characters, but wish there was a tad bit more nuisance to them becoming enemies to "lovers"

I LOOOOVVVVEEEE ALI HAZELWOOD. God, Rue is such a complex character. The shitty childhood, the girl bossing, the way she is, I just love her. I was rooting for her the whole time 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was such a different book and I felt sucked in with trying to figure out who the murder was. The characters were diverse and lowkey just little worker bees. Loved it!

This book... the magic system... the areas of resistance to colonialism... the characters... dark academia... MY SOUL. This is a book I will think about for years to come.

Spicy, poly, MMFM (I think I did that right???) Anyways... spicy and kind of lowkey sweet??? I'm so conflicted on what I liked most about this book, but I couldn't stop reading it.
