Hate review
- This book made me wish i was dyslexic. this is not going to be aesthetic what so ever because i don't want to waste my time also i read this book when it first got popular but april begged me to write a hate review so here we are , powerless lovers i guarantee you that you will hate it by the end also this is not spoiler free and i will yap about the second book here too. if you liked this book good for you so happy you enjoyed seriously but do not pick a fight with me i don't have the time to deal with yall.

The plagiarism in this book is insane it's hilarious like red queen , the hunger games , the cruel prince , shatter me and so many other books got plagiarized i bet you all in book 3 kai will grow a tail and kitt will become a fate. Every trope in existence was in this shit i swear like enemies to lover they weren't even enemies. Prince x commoner , who did this to you and so many other tropes were in here like lauren added all trope in existence and called it a day she said yall will eat this up for sure and some of yall did but a lot of us didn't like i'm still so shocked on how this book even trended in the first place. This was only like what 100 pages worth of plotplagiarized plot and 400 pages worth of banter and it was so long like reading it was torture. Also can we talk about how the fact that our badass paedyn gray could beat high level elites while she's just an ordinary like hello lauren should've just made her an elite .

the writing was horrible someone gift lauren a dictionary please she really needs it in fact i'll go out of my way and buy it for her myself. Me, a high school student who English isn't her first language found so many grammar mistakes in this and in reckless like it's seriously insane. Nothing annoyed me more than lauren dragging the sentences to make them sound poetic when they don't even make any sense the real question is DOES SHE EVEN HAVE AN EDITOR ???

paedyn gray : if you are named paedyn i am so sorry i feel so bad seriously. Paedyn was such a pick me character even more than america singer from [b:The Selection|10507293|The Selection (The Selection, #1)|Kiera Cass|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1322103400l/10507293._SY75_.jpg|15413183] and that's saying a lot. She just hated kai for no reason just because she wanted to seem tough and shit like girl you ain't all that calm tf down pls. When i first started i was excited because i heard paedyn was so badass and i love badass fmc but no paedyn was the worst fmc i have ever read about and i have read over a 100 books and i've never hated a fmc more. I'm sorry but the fact that she didn't follow the dress code and didn't wear green to the balls was so disrespectful like how do you even do that ? the fact that she forgot about her best friend who was suffering in the slums already says a lot about her character, what a bitch honestly. I'm not like other girls i don't fall in love with princes and the fact that she was making fun of blair because kai and kitt were chasing her i mean blair is a bitch i'll give her that but there was no need to do that omg. anyways if paedyn dies in the 3rd book i'm giving the book a 6 stars <3 Also her making out with kai and going i hate him i was just pretending girl you are not fooling anybody because what we all know you like him stop trying to be strong and shit because we all know you aint
kai azer : "what a vicious little thing." i'm sorry is she an animal ??? like vicious little things are used to describe ANIMALS also "Oh darling." another reason why lauren needs to be gifted a dictionary because kai literally found one word in the dictionary and went with it. He has the most basic ass booktok bf formula : "powerful" + black hair + "hot" + flirty + daddy issues like can we please start writing about loveable golden retriever boyfriends because this is not it i bet you all if i showed you a pick of him and rhysand yall wouldn't be able to tell the difference because they're literally the exact same i liked him at first but lauren then ruined his whole character. Also i feel like lauren added ava just so he would be traumatized and have a sad backstory so yall could pitty his flirtyass

Also kitt knows kai likes paedyn and decided to go make a move on her like what type of brother do you have to be to do that. Also in his head the perfect wife is someone who murdered his dad like bitch bfr now if someone murdered my dad i'm killing their dumbass and torturing their family same goes to kai here. Also i thought ordinaries were "diseased" how are you going to marry her like bitch be so fucking fr now.
