God this book was so boring. The MC was so irritating and I literally either hated the character or could tell you nothing about them lol. This is the first book I got through for the reading rush and it took me sOoooOoo long to finish this.

So rarely am I left speechless after a book, especially a poetry collection. This is one of the most beautiful bodies of work I’ve ever read and that I ever will read. A new favorite of all time. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

Honestly what was this lol I didn’t feel connected to anyone or any aspect of this story? I was confused for like 79% of the book and when it ended I let out a sigh of relief. I’m not a fan of romance but this really wasn’t even a romance which somehow made it worse? Hard pass on this one.

Wow I really liked this one! Good drama mixed with wonderful pacing and interesting characters. Not groundbreaking by any means but definitely a really enjoyable story.

This seemed to have really great reviews and I went in with such high hopes. For some reason this just fell a little flat for me, I liked a few of the poems but a lot just seemed to be one sentence or so and I just didn’t really didn’t understand the theme or feel connected to the poetry at all.

I think this one was my fault for not enjoying. I didn’t realize it was a religious (memoir?) the author was trying to be a “self help” book but it turned into a story about her life? I don’t know this was so chaotic which is SO ironic. I’d skip this one.
