***Thank you Netgalley and Oni Press for this arc in exchange for a honest review***

I adore Mika and found it adorable she told all of her toys good-bye when she left on an advanture. This was a quick, light-hearted and beautiful read about facing your fears.

Creative, unique and inspiring. We follow an alien named Jomny who is sent on a mission to observe humans, or humabn.

Opening to the first page cracked me up: where the story begins showing Jomny walking up to tree, asking if it's an "earbth creatur", it replying yes and Jomny happily walking away saying "i hav met a humabn".

The story goes on with Jomny asking many characters they come in contact with what they are. Some identify as an introvert (I felt bad laughing at their cuteness), as too busy to be their friend or say "its not abot who we are, is it abot what we will become". Some of these characters get really deep, which comes as a shock to me at times, and sometimes make other characters cry/question their existence. It goes into depth to even depict nothing as importance, happiness, talks about death, fears of all types, loneliness and so much more.

Everyone's a alien when ur a alien too is a truly enjoyable, breath-taking and uplifting book. Every thought, concern, question and fear that has ever crossed my mind was addressed. It feels like a hug in book form with sprinkles of dark humor.

The Davenports evenly spaced out and gave equal love between the young ladies who we followed . So many laugh out loud moments, heartfelt, clutching my metaphoric pearls.

I enjoyed delving into the City of Brass world and following where it picked up from that plot twist. I swear Dara is similar to Jason in the way, they just want to rest in peace, yet are forced to be resurrected. They just cannot catch a break. Dara is just more self conscious of his actions and actually has a heart and feelings. It's complicated and I just want to give him a hug.

I cannot say how much I truly ADORED Chloe as a character and enjoyed this rom-com.

Immediately I had a laugh out loud moment in the first paragraph and knew from the get-go, this was going to be good. This felt like a feel good series you would cuddle up on the couch and enjoy. Chloe and her stubborn personality is so relatable, I felt too seen LOL. Especially her love for animals 🤍🫠

Chloe felt like a lifelong friend whom was giving us an update on what's been going on in her life.

But the number of laugh out loud moments I experienced in straight up ILLEGAL!!! No book, I say, no book should have me both feeling real feelings and a page-turn away, laughing while clutching my side. So thankful this is a trilogy so I ca n read the supportive, loving and comical perspective from her sisters, Eve and Dani. 🥰

This book about made me want to cry with how freaking ADORABLE Owl is!!!! From his small stature and large curious eyes. One cannot help but daydream and enjoy following this young Owl going after his dreams.

Since hatching, Owl has had only one wish. That was to be a knight. Before drifting off to bed he would imagine himself as a knight: brave, clever and would have many friends.

For him, it was a dream, until a notice popped up saying knights were disappearing. He applied to Knight school and was accepted!!! <3

He was an excellent student though small for his sword and shield and took naps during the day.

Of course, passing with honors, he graduated and was to patrol the night shift known as the Knight Night Watch.

Owl is great, since the other knights sleep during the night. Until an unsuspecting visitor comes around flapping their wings in the night. To his surprise a dragon appears, mistaking Owl for a midnight snack.

Being the clever knight he is, Owl hones in to be brave and clever in front of the dragon. Saying that he is too small, that a pizza would fill the dragon up instead and the two bond over their similarities.

From that night on, no more knights disappear. And the best part, Owl had many friends and is surrounded by the dragon, their babies and the knights <3
