Overall this is such a cozy read to enjoy next to a glowing fireplace or under whimsical Christmas lights

The inconsistency of the art is a major downside for me. It only made sense on the chapter that announced it was a break in the story. 

The font was difficult to read and unfocused, even zoomed in. But the art overall is really nice and unique.

I cannot believe I forgot to automatically update my review! This was absolutely FANTASTIC and hit me in the feels from every direction. My love of Warner has blossomed so much, I am so proud of his development as a character🥰🥰🥰 But the whole Ella/Juliette thing has my mind still blown away. I love all of the characters so much and backpedaled to its novellas. I actually would do a reread of The Shatter Me series (the word play of Shatter Me finally made sense for this series and honestly makes my heart hurt🥺🥺🥺) Still in awe and forever in love with the 12 book shatter me series. This fandom has gained another fan🥰😍🥰

I am utterly conflicted with my emotions to this day, December 10th.

 Pure curiosity kept me wanting to read to the end, even though this wasn't interesting.

 The erotic romance that kept popping up between the MC and the "villain", never a good sign.
 He gave me The Darkling vibes but more adult content. 

The MC love for her step-daughter was the highlight of this book and I was happy for the decision made for her.

 But the fact this story will be continued?!?! Honestly 50/50 chance of me continuing this series. If there is an audiobook for its sequel, I'll give it a listen.

Well, well, well...we get more hotmessness from the infamous Kenji x-D this kid is really growing on me, can't help it and super funny.

Hearing from his standpoint brings some normalcy to this disaster of a world he's in. His crush on Nazeera and Warner, shockingly, giving him advice on love lol

At this point I have finished the main series and am making my way through its novellas. 12 books in total and am so in love and intrigue with the Shatter Me series. Who would have guessed I could love a dystopian sci-fi fantasy series so much. The writing is poetic and lush, reminding me of Mirage's writing, and filled with both hope and adventure. Surprisingly, there were laugh out loud moments throughout each book and novella that kept me motivated of the possibility Juliette and the other characters would find happiness.
