This was my first Marie Lu series and I understand the hype. Her writing, pacing and development were so well done. My one complaint is that I feel like there were loose ends with the ghosts and Constantine and what he was researching about immortality. I was expecting the series to continue and delve into that more. I still enjoyed it though!

This book is exactly what from blood and ash should have been. All the action and inner struggle without being repetitive. It was quick sometimes maybe too quick but I loved the story and every character.
