This book made me think of the Jardin de Versailles, with all the statues putted into Roman back rooms. With every page I ended up deeper into the labyrinth of this book.

Leaving this world behind to go back to the real world made me a bit sad, it had felt so comforting; with the tides, the gorgeous statues and the sea. Just bring me to that world please!

The concept was very promising but didnt work that way for me. The characters are very one diminsional and the story pacing felt odd and off. I can see the potential it had for some readers, but sadly I'm not one of them. -skip read the last 250 pages because I was so bored, shouldve dnfed it-

Absolutely loved coming back to the world of Red London. I adored the new characters Tess and the queen of white so much, and was very intrigued in their stories and powers. This book felt like coming home, but had me stressed out at various moments. But I think it's safe to conclude, everything Schwab brings out I will read, because that woman has a magic pen or something, love it!
