Wow, this story is heartbreaking and beautifully hopefull at the same time. Knowing this is based on real non ficitonal things is so sad, everybody should read this book. Just to know how lucky we are but mainly to teach how much we need to help where we can and to be kind to refugees.

I enjoyed it, but all the pov-switches where a bit hard to follow. I read part one a year ago so that also didn't really help. Half way I started to enjoy the book more. However, like many second books in a trilogie, it is mainly world-building and setting up for a grander finale
