See You Yesterday by Rachel Lynn Solomon
4.0
This book was a refreshing look at time travel and the constraints of falling in love in time loops amid the uncertainty of self-discovery in college. I always enjoy Solomon's style of writing with witticisms and open dialogue about mental health.

this book challenged conventions & imaginations & limits. i’ve never read anything like it!
Crushing by Sophie Burrows

this book, although with almost no words, speaks so highly of the quest to align ourselves with people who we think should get a piece of our heart… and the humanity of heartbreak.
I Will Judge You by Your Bookshelf by Grant Snider
this was SUCH a good novel about the idiosyncrasies of the nose-deep-in-a-book crowd! it made me laugh and reflect on life as a reader... and then it made me want to peruse everything else Snider has done!
Tender Is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica

I needed something to jumpstart my reading again, thought this horror novella would do the trick. and it did; I couldn’t sleep until I put it down yesterday only a few hours after I had first picked it up…
and consequently, I couldn’t sleep after I had finished it! the writing is gripping and it digs its demented fingernails into the deep recesses of the “what if?” side of our brain. visually horrifying and a gruesome periscope into the extreme perils our future could be., this novella will stick with you, whether you want it to or not.
ow excuse me as I return to my cozy little comfort zone of cartoon cover romantic comedies.

Tin Man by Justin Madson
this was so smartly written that it didn't even feel like I was reading a spin on Wizard of Oz. It's tender and funny and really honest.

dark, seedy, gripping…. oh if these walls could talk
