The type of romantic comedy that leaves you grinning ear-to-ear and devouring in one sitting, much like any good pint of ice cream. excited to read the rest of the series.

don’t know if the word “enjoy” is right for a novel about the KKK, but the cruel, vigilante comeuppance was a read I won’t forget this year!

SpoilerIt CAN'T be a good sign that I found the segments where she's already in the psych ward to be more interesting than the events that transpired to land her there... also, there was an excess of unreliability--in her thoughts, her friends and family, her inner monologue even. the only reliable part of this is well-placed short chapters to read it (and reach the disappointing but still very much ambiguous) ending. it was not memorable.

I put this book down for too long and grew disinterested. it was thought-provoking but too far outside my reading realm to fully enjoy

at points, this book felt despondent but then it would take an upwards swing to remind us that loneliness is part of humanity

maybe I'm just partial to books where the female protagonist is named Hannah... but wow, was this a funny and fearless take on love, friendship and career!
