I have so much love for Chelsea Curto and her books, they leave me feeling so much happiness, even when Iโ€™m in a bad place, and Behind The Camera did just that for me. The third book is certainly my favourite one of the series, and if I have ever wanted a man to be a certain type of way, he would be exactly like Dallas Lansfield.

You can never go wrong with a single dad romance, and I love that this one differs a little from other ones. The biological mother isnโ€™t in the picture, and she never comes into it, which is why I love it so much. You have no drama regarding the parents, and it just strays from the cliche immediately.

Maven was introduced in the novella originally, and I loved her character then, I knew I wanted to see a book about her and by the time I read the second book, I was most certainly desperate for her to be Dallasโ€™s (she says with jealousy) and I knew that their chemistry would be unmatched on many levels. Maven is an absolute sweetheart who has a heart of gold and seeโ€™ the good in everyone. Sheโ€™s the kind of person that EVERYONE needs in their life, and if they have her, theyโ€™re lucky. Sheโ€™s flawless, kind, caring and much more, but above all, sheโ€™s genuine, and thatโ€™s what makes her so loveable.

Dallas is a man who takes responsibility and despite his insecurities, he takes the hand heโ€™s been dealt and does everything he can to be the best he can. Heโ€™s an incredible father to June Bug (let me have his babies pls), an incredible friend, and an incredible player on the field. While I may not know much about sports, especially football in America, the snippets of being able to learn things because sports plays such a big part in the story is something really fun. Dallas isnโ€™t your typical playboy who sleeps with numerous women and swears off love, heโ€™s a man whoโ€™s celibate and cares about his career, daughter and friends. He is so different from your normal male sports player that you canโ€™t help but fall for him.

Despite the lack of diversity and representation within the book, I cannot find any complaints. Chelsea has done a wonderful job with her story, and if someone was to not love it, Iโ€™d be shocked to say the least. The conversations that take place between Dallas and Maven have my heart happy. The way Chelsea has allowed the characters to be vulnerable and open themselves up has my heart, because it takes a lot to trust someone with your secrets and insecurities. It was great to see previous characters also play such a big part within the book, I had really missed them, and I hope I get to see them again.

All in love, this book has just been perfect and no words will be able to express the love I have for it. The postcard scenes were adorable, the sex scenes were HOT AS FUCK, and I would honestly do anything to have a man like Dallas Lansfield because he is the type of man I want in my life.  Finally, I just want to say how beautiful the ending was. It was perfect, and my heart is full of happiness rn.

Chelsea Curto, you are a queen.

As someone who is very new to anything Greek mythology, I was really interested by this free book that was available via BookBub. I donโ€™t know what I was expecting and while I didnโ€™t hate it, I didnโ€™t love it either.

I think the main thing that ruined it for me was the mention of โ€œavatarsโ€, it confused me a little at the start as I felt as though they werenโ€™t explained very clearly, and from the way Iโ€™ve understood it, Godโ€™s find themselves in a human form and transfer some of their power to said human. While I think itโ€™s a very unique take, I think it took from the original situation of a Greek God/Goddess being present on Earth completely.

Despite the negative mentioned above, I feel as though the characters were well thought out and enjoyable to meet. Hades really is a grump, but heโ€™s a grump that you grow to love as you see him develop through out the story. Autumn is a wildfire, full of spunk and takes the day as it comes. I love when two polar opposites come together and both take something from one another, I think itโ€™s beautiful.

Although the plot was obvious, I did enjoy it as Autumn started to discover the truth about herself and Iโ€™m very intrigued to see how sheโ€™ll continue to develop as a person as Persephone starts to become more present within her.

Finally, there were a fair amount of spelling mistakes/grammatical issues within the story that surprised me as I expected less. Maybe it needs another proofread? Despite the issues, I would really like to read the next story!

First of all, I love the way Lina describes things, she has such a beautiful way of making things sound beautiful, even in a moment of sadness and heartbreak; and while this book may have a lower rating than what I was hoping to give it, I want to express that she is a beautiful author.

Noel is an absolute sweetheart, but I feel as though the have more of himself to Emma than Emma did to him. He was nothing but wonderful to her and while I understand some of things she did, she always had one foot out of the door, and she wasnโ€™t ready despite saying she was.

Emma is a lovely woman, but she really needed to work on herself before getting into a relationship with Noel after Adam. My heart broke for her over Frank, and I wouldโ€™ve loved to see more of her in the future wise. My main frustration was her consistent foot out of the door.

The pacing was way too quick for my liking which I felt really affected the chemistry for me. The way the story ended with the epilogue being of how they first met shouldโ€™ve been at the start of the story, it wouldโ€™ve of been great to see that chemistry from the start. It almost felt as if things were forced rather than letting it progress naturally.

Despite the slightly low rating, I will be getting the second book as I would really love to know about Carolineโ€™s story! Also, CAN WE JUST APPRECIATE THE BEAUTIFUL COVER?! It is GORGEOUS.

This is the first book Iโ€™ve read by Lexi Ryan and Iโ€™m officially a fan of her work. I went into this book completely blind, I donโ€™t know what I was expecting apart from something potentially sports related.

This is a story of heartbreak, betrayal and love. No words can express the kind of experience that all the characters go through, especially Arrow and Mia.

Mia is someone with a heart of gold whoโ€™s never had things easy despite the fact that sheโ€™s deserved them to be easy. Without giving too much away, how much can one person take before they blow?

Arrow is a sweetheart although I wonโ€™t lie about how much disgust I had towards him at first! Meeting Arrow drew me back because I couldnโ€™t understand why he was so rude at first, but as you get to know him and you see him from the past, you get to know the real him, and that man is a beautiful man.

The pacing for the story was actually something I enjoyed, I didnโ€™t feel that it was going too slow, but I didnโ€™t feel that it was going too fast either. It was just right! The only thing I HATED in terms of pacing was the slow burn for Mia and Arrow to finally allow themselves to give in, because I just NEEDED them to have a good moment, it was NEEDED.

The plot was very predicated about 25% into the story, and while that was disappointing for me, I think the way the plot was handled was fantastic and did leave you with certain questions. I like how the plot went back and forth to lead you to the big moment, it left you itching to know the full truth, it left you wanting to continue reading. I also like how the plot going back and forth allowed you to see how the characters had grew to become the present them and be able to see the character development so clearly. Lexi did a fantastic job!

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and I loved the friendships that were present between Bailey and Mia, and Arrow, Chris and Mason. Theyโ€™re a true group of friends and if anything, it leaves you excited for the rest of the books!

For starters, for anyone to think this story will not be about a horny priest but a priest simply falling in love, WHAT?! The synopsis is very clear and you should not expect ANYTHING other than a whole load of smut and a forbidden romance that you want to work.

Now, I want to say thank you to whatever God decided to put Priest up for free via Kindle for a set amount of daysโ€ฆ because of you, I was able to read this book a lot sooner that I thought Iโ€™d be able to.

I read Priest as a buddy read with my best friend and we were both blown away. Iโ€™ve never read a book that delves into religion, but I really love how the religion was focused on in this story. It was not only interesting to read the prayers and lines from the Bible, but it was also interesting to see how things work if you are someone who is a Priest. I feel that the religion playing a big part in the story allowed for more development and strayed away from stories that focus on someone instantly giving up on something they believe in as soon as they meet someone theyโ€™re attracted to. I was pleased to see how much Tylerโ€™s faith meant to him, and that it was a hard hard hard choice for him to decide on what to do.

The backstory to why Tyler became a Priest was mentioned a few times, and I really like how it was spoken about. The back story is something that happens in the real world and isnโ€™t often heard about, I feel as though Sierra raised awareness in some sort of way, and for that, I think sheโ€™s an incredible woman.

Poppy is one of the strongest females I have come across in a story, her strength is admirable, and I love that she loves Tyler for how much he loves and cares about his faith. Not only does she want to be a better person, but she wants to be someone who finds her own path. Sheโ€™s not perfect, but at least she doesnโ€™t act as though she is. While I had so much anger at Poppy at one point during the story, I understand why she did what she did, and I just want her to be happy.

Finally, this is the SPICIEST book I have read. I love the BDSM/degrading representation, I love how itโ€™s made clear that while itโ€™s okay in relationships, itโ€™s only okay if both parties are consenting and talk about things properly. The fact that Sierra makes it clear through her characters and before the story starts is something that I love and I think other authors should take note of it and follow that line.

All in all, I absolutely LOVED this story, I SQUEALED at certain points, and Iโ€™d let Tyler take me on an alter any day. If youโ€™re still reading this review, please stop what youโ€™re doing and go and purchase this book SOMEHOW.

I came across the authors account randomly one day while on Instagram, and I have never been more thankful for the algorithm because it brought me to this masterpiece. Iโ€™m someone who is still new to dark romance, fantasy and dark academia, I didnโ€™t know how I would feel about this book but I wanted to give it a go because it intrigued me. To say Iโ€™m glad I did would be an understatement.

First things first, the map! Who doesnโ€™t love a good mad? Then you turn the page to see the different realms. All significant, all beautiful, and all full of stories. I like how this added some uniqueness to the book rather than it having a single map like a lot do. I feel as though the author had a clear vision in her head which only built the world building up to a higher standard.

Then thereโ€™s a playlist! Not everyone is a enjoyer of playlists within a story but I like knowing that after reading this story, I can go back and listen to all of the songs on that playlist and think about how each one relates to the story, itโ€™ll help me sort through my feelings as I continue to suffer through a book hangover. And finally, a pronunciation guide! This is the FIRST book Iโ€™ve come across to have one and it was fantastic to see as sometimes you have no idea as to how a word is meant to be pronounced and youโ€™re constantly left saying it in different ways until you feel a certain way is right. The author thought things through so well, I was instantly impressed.

As soon as I started reading the book, I was a little confused, I didnโ€™t know what to think or how to feel but as I was introduced to Ambrose, I was wanting that man instantly and I will admit, he is indeed a DILF. Then I got to meet Maeve and I thought her character was a strong one. Maeve is someone who has a bite to her and isnโ€™t afraid to say what she thinks, and sometimes sheโ€™ll go about saying it in a really smart way. I love that she didnโ€™t fall to Malachiteโ€™s charm like everyone else did at first, I like that she was somewhat obnoxious towards him, it made the falling for him that bit sweeter.

Malachite is a dream, he may of not charmed Maeve at first, but he certainly made me curious. His questions left me struggling to trust him, but as I grew to learn more about him, I admired him. This man hasnโ€™t had it easy and yet the way he holds himself is beautiful. The way he treats Maeve with such respect and passion has me swooning, and the way he commands power is mesmerising.

While there was somewhat of a slow burn, the chemistry between Maeve and Mal was clear, you could tell they were made for one another and to get in their way would be a silly idea. They fought as one and trusted one another in a way that shows true loyalty and respect. At times I was a bit confused as to why Mal would act standoffish with Maeve while she clearly wore her heart on her sleeve for him, but it was all for her to show how strong she was, and thatโ€™s something that I really love and respected.

The reason I knocked off a little regarding my rating is down to the fact that I felt as though mentioning the war was a bit pointless. It was made to be this big thing but then was never properly focused on in my opinion? The author bought nonfiction into fiction and it didnโ€™t feel right, I feel as though the author shouldโ€™ve just made up a war instead and it wouldโ€™ve blended in better with Kietel and the magical aspect. I was left feeling underwhelmed, especially when the plot changed up half way through.

The ending was something that shocked me a little. I knew something was going to happen but I couldnโ€™t figure out what, and when it finally did, I wanted to cryโ€ฆ Lauren, you are on my hit list for what you did! I was left creating my own suspect list and I am DESPERATE to read the second book to know who could be so cruel and evil. I will say that the ending did feel as though it was partly done that way so that it helped Maeve become stronger because of something traumatic when in reality, sheโ€™s strong enough without the trauma.

All in all, I loved this book so much and the author is a magnificent writer. I hope people find this absolute gem because it deserves to be loved and appreciated. If youโ€™re someone who enjoys Harry Potter, books that involve lots of magic and some romance, then this is perfect for you!

โ€œYou do not ever have to plead with me, my love. He kissed her lips. โ€œI am your willing slave.โ€

I loved this book so much, I think it was the best book in the series alongside it being the most scandalous.

Jo is a fantastic woman who exudes so much confidence, she is also a very inspirational woman who deserves the very best in life; especially when she already does everything a man can do but men arenโ€™t as kind to accept that in her society.

Richard is a simp at heart who often walks around like heโ€™s a red flag but produces green flags when alone with Jo. Richard is my favourite love interest within the series purely because of his character development. He goes from being a notorious rake and a hard nose man to someone who allows love to consume him and he also becomes someone who grows softer towards his family.

A big part of this story was the friendship between Selena and Jo. Selenaโ€™s storyline with Mick was heartbreaking to say the least and to have Jo by her side was beautiful. Sometimes when your life is going in the wrong direction, you need one person to make things easier, and Jo was indeed that person for Selena. In addition to the friendship that was between Jo and Selena, the friendships between the previous women who have starred in stories was beautiful to read about to. It showed that you can find family within friendships, and that just because youโ€™re a little different and โ€œscandalousโ€ doesnโ€™t mean you canโ€™t find women who love you for who you are.

I think the ending was perfect and just how it shouldโ€™ve been for these characters, and I love that I got to read little facts at the end about how the theatre industry was. The research that is evident within this story is fantastic.

If youโ€™re looking for a regency story that is an entire series, then this would be perfect for you!

โ€œYouโ€™re not a problem, Misery. Youโ€™re a privilege.โ€

For my first Ali Hazelwood book, I am not disappointed. I can see clearly as to why so many readers love her writing, and I am going to happily join the on the Ali Hazelwood express!

This is the first time I have read a story focusing on vampires and werewolves in a novel format, before I have only ever read them on an interactive app. While a lot was confusing at first, it is something that I have turned out to really enjoy and would happily read more of in the future.

At first, I felt that the story was okay, but it was fairly slow and as though the characters lacked chemistry between them. I understood why the marriage took place, but at the same time, I felt that the marriage was going to be a track wreck. Despite the lack of chemistry, I did guess early on about why Lowe felt a certain way about Miseryโ€™s scene, but then proceeded to be confused and intrigued when it was believed he had another mate.

I think something that made the chemistry more clear between Lowe and Misery was Ana. Ana is an absolute sweetheart and I love that she played such a big part in the story, even if her scenes were somewhat limited. You got to see a vampire start to care for someone youโ€™d never expect her to care for, and you got to see this sweet side to Lowe that personally had me slowly falling for him.

With the story progressing and my knowledge growing, I was starting to get into things. I was constantly having questions come to the forefront of my mind while coming up with silly little theories around Serenaโ€™s disappeared (yes I got them wrong like usual).

Then came the plot twist! Boy, was I angry! I feel that SOME of the plot twist could come across pointless to some readers but I think all of it was really thought out, and it became hard to know who to trust. Needless to say, the outcome of the plot twist had me ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบ and super happy. Itโ€™s a shame that it did leave a little plot hole for me though in terms of a certain someone!

The first sex scene was a little weird to me, but now I understand it, and as they began to happen more, I was down for them. They were unique to me but I do feel that the whole โ€œknottingโ€ thing couldโ€™ve been made a little clearer (especially to those who are new to these kind of books). Truth be told, it makes me desperate to know whatโ€™s next for Lowe and Misery as they navigate this life that isnโ€™t known to be normal within their worlds.

Finally, the ending better mean we get another book otherwise I will steal Aliโ€™s laptop and break it, because I need another book. Especially if we can get another werewolf like Lowe, yum!

Itโ€™s hard to believe that someone so incredible at writing could only be publishing their first novel, especially when itโ€™s written as well as it is.

I was honoured when I was asked to be an ARC reader because I was so excited to purchase this book and devour it, especially after seeing everything the author had posted, you would be crazy not to be!

When I say this story involves the enemies to lovers trope, I mean ENEMIES TO LOVERS. This is one of first books that I have seen LIVE UP to that trope and truly work with it the way theyโ€™re meant to. Itโ€™s a cat and mouse game between Silas and Alina until Silas falls in love with Alina and her soul.

Alina is a very unique character who enjoys testing poisons and antidotes out. She doesnโ€™t really care what others think about her, nor what goes on around her unless itโ€™s regarding her best friend Phoebe. Phoebe and Alina are super cute friendship wise. Theyโ€™re complete opposites and yet since childhood, theyโ€™ve been one anotherโ€™s person, and you can really see that related in the authors writing.

Silas is a playboy, one without a care in the world, especially when it comes to what, or should I say who, he eats. Heโ€™s rich, heโ€™s powerful, heโ€™s everything Alina loathes and other women love. I love the dynamic that starts out as a chase between Silas and Alina; I love that their dynamic turns complicated and unexplainable, something that only they understand.

The book is set within the Victorian Era which I personally found really interesting to read as the research and love the author has is present throughout the world building and simpler details such as the clothing. It made the book even more interesting to read, and fitted the genres perfectly.

Unfortunately, there were two scenes that I did dislike within the book, and while I donโ€™t want to give any spoilers, I do want to talk about how the author DID NOT justify a single bad thing that took place. I like that when I was looking for explanations as to why Silas did what he did, I got a clear explanation that made sense but once again, didnโ€™t justify anything. The anger I had and continue to have for Silas is crazy, but Iโ€™m really excited to read the sequel and see how things play out.

Finally, the thing I really enjoyed but went crazy at is the plot twist that happened during the story. I was kicking myself when it all became clear, but I love that it wasnโ€™t so obvious that it actually made you made that you couldnโ€™t just guess it there and then. It made the story more enjoyable, it made the story more fun.

I would recommend this story 100 times over if it meant that Ophelia got the love she deserved alongside her writing. Her writing was unique and different, it had little twists and turns that made you fall in love with Silas just to make you remember why you shouldnโ€™t. It had the perfect backstory for Alina to make you love and appreciate her character, her personality, and everything that she does.

If you do read this story, I would make sure to check the TRIGGER WARNINGS as I would hate for anyone to be triggered, but all in all, I think this book will do amazing and be a best seller one day, I truly do. Once again, thank you Ophelia for allowing me the privilege to read this story before it came out, it was an honour.
