Second-Rate Superstar by Siena Trap
5.0
Siena trip and this series 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I had the pleasure of reading books 1 & 2, and wasn’t sure if she could have topped either one of them. Usually an author aren’t able to write a series that is a straight home run with each book, but Siena did!
“Second rate superstar was by far my favorite book in the Comet series.
Braxton and Dakota’s story was beautifully written and really honed on overcoming their pasts and all of the things they have gone through and while having some REAL kinky spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 for me, it really had the most sweetest side too, especially with Braxton giving ALL the cinnamon roll vibes. Only Siena can take you on a WILD spicy ride, but also write the story with an emotional side to pull on your heartstrings a bit. I will NEVER pass up a read by her. Beautiful writing style, amazing characters with the best chemistry and storylines that are fully written in detail! 🫶🏽

Hidden While In Sight by Amber Warden
4.0
I will always be a mafia girlie and jumped at the chance to read "Hidden While In Sight" by Amber (who also happened to be a "new to me" author.
I read a TON of mafia books and I really liked that with Amber's writing style, she wrote this storyline mostly in Diego's point of view. I would have liked a bit more background history about him (just a personal preference), but I will say that he was a great MMC. It wasn't a super in-depth mafia read, but kind of light on the mafia troupe, mostly focused on the storyline with plot twists and the chemistry between Diego and Hannah. I personally couldn't connect with Hannah, something about her that I really couldn't put my finger on, but did really connect more with Diego and all that he's been through, how he was a bit rough at first personality wise, but Hannah brought out a whole other side to him that wasn't there in the beginning. His character growth was some of the best growth in an MMC I've seen in a while and is partly why I rated this book 4 stars. Good writing style with Amber and I enjoyed this book. Would recommend and read other books by her in the future.

Property of Chrissy by Landry Hill
5.0
Landry,
I can’t keep falling in love with another Savage Knight biker! She has done it again it for me.
“Property of Chrissy” is the story I’ve been waiting on. Especially to see Shiv/Sean’s story and gain a better understanding of why he went on the road. Misunderstanding costed him a lot of heartbreak and angst over the years, but it was nice to see him get a second chance with his girl. The spice in this was a 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5. Shiv is one kinky dude that loves his role playing and he does it well. That one spicy scene in the restaurant was HOT.
I would say I was pleasantly surprised to see Roxy in a different light. She’s so down to earth and made this book even better with how she handles her friendship mixed with some spice with Shiv and seeing her give Chrissy the security she needed with Shiv to know it was nothing deep between them and their time together. We love a sweetbutt that isn’t delusional. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Ride with Zane by Adina D. Grey
4.0
Who would have thought that a MC/figure skater romance would be a thing and it actually worked?
This whole book wasn't what I expected it to be and it was really refreshing to see an MC romance be written in a way that made it unique from others and a really enjoyable read. It was a quick read (got it read through within a few hours) and the only thing I hated was how quickly I got through it. I easily could have read another 100-200 pages of Adina's storytelling magic. Zane and Ashley were the true definition of opposites attract. Both being complete opposites, but once they got together, the sparks flew and their chemistry was off the charts. Great storyline, good plot twists and the side characters really gave the story more depth and only added to how much I loved it. I loved Adina's writing style and easily would read more by her in the future. If you want a quick-paced MC romance that will have you wanting more, this is the book for you! :)

Purchasing Her Pet by Carolina Cox
5.0
First, sapphic dark romances have had me in a chokehold lately.
Carolina did an incredible job with showing F/F sapphic pet play romances in a unique light that made for a steamy read and something different. It was a relatively quick read (finished it in under an hour), but the storyline was perfectly paced and filled with some of the best spice I've read this month.
I did not think I was into "pet play", but Carolina made me a fan. I loved seeing Alexa and Cat's chemistry throughout the book and how you can feel the push/pull of a very unique Dom/Sub relationship in a sense. Alexa is the more dominant FMC and Cat is more of a sub, needing to feel like she's secure in her partnerships. Overall, I really loved this book and can't wait to read more of Carolina's naughty novellas.

All Of Her Truth: Book Two: Games Of Deception Duet by Luna K. Wicked, Luna K. Wicked

This damn book 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
First thank you KG (now Luna) for probably one of my favorite reads this month. It blew my whole damn mind and will forever live in my head rent free. I LOVE mafia romances and will devour them asap! Luna’s writing in this book was SO GOOD. The way she wrote her storyline with so many emotions, twists, aspects of suspense and some real dark topics. The characters really brought the whole book to life, having me fall down the rabbit hole of what a true Mafia dark romance is.
Definitely check the trigger warnings before diving into this one. It was DARK, FILTHY and will be a read that gives you one of the best book orgasms you will ever have in your life.
The smut in this was a 5/5 for me. KG/Luna gives you all the spice in all kinds of scenarios, filled with morally gray, possessive, unhinged men. 👏🏽 This book had me hooked from page one, but also was one insane emotional rollercoaster! I’m obsessed and can’t wait to dive into more of her books soon!
Watch her Breathe by Emily Klepp

Emily knew she was going to end this series with a BANG. HOLY CRAPPPPPP.
If you aren't familiar with her work, definitely take note of the trigger warning lists for each book that's about a mile long. She writes some really dark stuff, and this one wasn't any different and is probably my favorite out of the entire series.
Violet was something else which made her probably my favorite FMC out of all of Emily's books. She has gone through a lot, but still managed to overcome it and still have a real twisted side too. The chemistry between her and Ryker was a 5/5. I have to say, I'm sad this series ended, but Em did this series so much justice and then some!

Watch her Bow by Emily Klepp

I have been REALLY enjoying Emily's short novellas with the Watch Her Series.
She does a great job with packing it with not only a quick fast-paced storyline, but with characters that would immediately have you falling in love. I LOVED seeing Kaia and Rayne's story be told. I could only wish that it was a bit longer, but for what it was, it was a quick 5 star read once again for me. Emily has a great writing style and will always write books that does it for me EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Unfix me by Emory Weste
5.0
First, thank you Emory Weste for writing a beautifully heartwrenching book that touches on triggering topics that aren't discussed enough in society.
This was one book that honestly blew me away, trigger warnings and all. I love a really good M/M romance, but Emory did something more with Sen and Kai's story, something that really added depth, emotions and a rawness that isn't shown in MM romances. This isn't a straight smut MM book or a cookie cutter rom-com, this is a book filled with so much angst that will break your heart into a million pieces, but will also make you believe in love all over again with Sen and Kai.
Sen broke my soul, especially with all the trauma he had to endure and continue to carry through life, not being able to be his true self or fully accepted by my family. Nobody deserves what he had to endure for years. Kai was a bright light in a dark time, really being so sweet and nurturing with Sen. Their chemistry was out of this world and really made for one of my top MM relationships in a book. I didn't expect this book to move me the way it did, and having me on the worst heartbreaking emotional rollercoaster of my life, but it was completely worth the binge read, bawling tears through it all for a few hours. Heed the trigger warnings, but definitely dive into this amazing read!

Rucked by Heidi Stark
3.0
This was my first book by Heidi and I was really looking forward to diving head first into a rugby why choose sports romance, almost salivating at the chance of it being a phenomenal read! But I felt that it was missing the mark on some things.
The concept for the storyline was great (I ATE IT UPPPP). I felt like she may have jumped around a lot in the writing process, and that caused the plot to fall through in parts of the novel itself. I felt very confused throughout. Will also touch on the grammar issues. I'm okay with a grammar issue here or there, but it was consistent throughout the entire book. I felt that it going through an editor once again before publishing it, could have changed the whole vibe of the book. I was a bit sad because the potential for this book to be a 4/5 star read for me was there, but the basic foundations and grammar issues brought it down to a 3 for me. I loved Dylan as the FMC, her charisma, her interactions with these rugby boys and everything she brought to the storyline. Even though it wasn't a 4/5 star read for me, I would read another book by Heidi. She has great potential to really rock my socks off and I would love to give another story by her a shot!
