This book was last month’s book club pick, and I wanted to “catch up” what I missed. I already heard my friends talk about it afterwards. I thought I would like it, but I couldn’t get into it.

I thought it was a self-help book, but it turned out to be a book of essays about science and philosophy and history, mixed with some of the author’s personal observations. This is a type of book I also like, so I enjoyed it. I didn’t like the repetitive “as I wrote in [previous chapter]” sentences.
