Badly written, dated use of Autistic representation, mental health representation sucks, murder is just murder with no justification and the plot holes! Wow! Just couldn’t suspend my disbelief for some of those leaps in logic. Either direction you interpret the ending it’s all wrong and makes zero sense and the protagonists just come off as the assholes. Gets a star for the laughs. The concept could have been interesting but the author couldn’t figure out how to pull it off. Clearly wrote the “twist” first then tried to add the story afterwards and even then it’s stupid. Read far worse concepts but better executed in much stronger novels so it came off as dull recycled, just explained to you. So fun…

CW: Suicidal thoughts and attempts. Sexual assault because Doc. Suga is creepy

As always, love his craft but I felt so disconnected from this one. I laughed when a lot, probably not the intention, but the premise was interesting.

Love the symbolism even if it’s so on the nose it hurts but he always manages to do it his own way.

Souls of humanity somehow running out yet we making more souls on earth than ever before hmm 😆
