This book was perfect for Christmas, I can't't believe I've waited this long to read it. Some stories I like very much, such as Rainbow Rowell's, Matt de la Pena's, Stephanie Perkins' or Jenny Han's. Some of them were kind of boring, David Levithan's for example, wasn't that captivating for me. But each of them was unique, and not clichè-like, which was refreshing after all the clichè movies I've watched this Christmas.

I recommend the audio book version, because it was just magical to hear all those different kinds of voices, like having twelve Christmas fairies instead of three.

When you are buying books without looking them up beforehand, it's like a russian roulette. You never know what to expect. This book was just like a bullet: surprising and caught me off guard.
I enjoyed Josie's personality so much. She was more of a young adult in her twenties than a teenager. But that didn't bother me at all. It was nice reading about her, the first person narrative was very on point here, because I felt like I'm in Josie's mind. When Josie was sad or angry, I felt it with such an intensity, like those feelings were mine. The other characters however, were a bit bland and faded. I especially didn't like Kate and Geoff.
Kate is an egoist. I couldn't get away with how she treated Josie. She was immature, hurt Josie's self-esteem, and at 15/16 this is no joke. I was sort of bullied at that age too, by someone I love, and I can tell you, it left a huge impact on me. Geoff was... well Geoff. And I hate Geoff. Sorry not sorry. He is awful and just because he's intelligent and curious, like Josie, doesn't mean they are very alike. The last few pages felt like a forced happy ending to a story that wasn't ready for it(at least concerning Kate and Geoff).
The other characters were likeable, although I would've loved a little more of Mrs. Easterday.
All-in-all, it was a good book to start the year with. Would recommend.

Such a cute read. Kasie West brought her best form yet, and I feel like she is really growing and writing more and more intricate stories. I loved these characters, I don't think I've ever wanted to be friends with a book character as much as I want to be with Abby. Her sarcasm and witty retorts are phenomenal and I love her grandpa too. I would've loved if Abby's father came home, and we got a bit of an insight into Abby's winter program and their every day lives so hopefully this will continue in the future.

I mean I never really liked Gideon in the other books. I just wanted to read more from these two authors because their writing style causes obsession. But this book didn't really change my feelings towards Gideon, and only portrayed Savannah in a worse picture than in the other books. I don't think I would recommend this book for it only takes away and doesn't give anything extra.
