Why haven't I read this book before?

Well this was so unexpected, it's hard to gather my thoughts regarding it. This book is just the perfect blend between a very nicely executed sci-fi and Kasie West's quirky, funny and romantic storytelling.

I loved everything. I loved the characters, the pace, the alternating chapters and the suspension. I cannot find anything that I can say against this book, I laughed out loud quite a few times, chewed down a few of my nails and even cried at a certain point. I don't know what else can you wish for in a book. I just hope that the second book will live up to its predecessor.

I'm scared to start reading anything else, because I know it won't be quite as good as this one was...

I think I have my favorite book from Kasie West, or rather books, because this duology was everything. I loved how in Split Second we got the best friends' perspective, because Laila is unique and complements Addie perfectly. I loved the plot of this one, how it concentrated on more action rather than romance (although at the base of the action we can find the romance too). It was fast-paced, constantly interesting and kept me up reading until 3 a.m. One of my favorites this year.

The book was incredible already on its own, but when I found out that this was based on an even crazier true story? Just blew my mind.

Things that I absolutely loved about this book: the plot, the unique characters, the plot twists, and the whole universe created. Brandon Sanderson, you're one talented writer.

Things that I disliked: too many descriptions. I'm more of a show and not tell type of reader, so when the narration was focused on explaining, my attention wavered. I hope that in the next books this will happen less. Also, the repetition of certain phrases was quite nerve-wrecking after a while.

Other than these problems I would 100% recommend the book.

Where should you start reviewing a book that has basically changed your life?

Firstly, I would like to say thank you, Colleen. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for writing such amazing books that shine light on relevant, real problems. And thank you for trying to search for a solution.

I thought that It Ends With Us was different from all the other books before. And then came Without Merit. And now All Your Perfects just blew my feelings like a hurricane.

What an amazingly raw plot and characters. This is not a story you will read in one sitting because it's so full of action, or plot twists. Not even close. This is a book that you will read in one sitting because it's real. You can easily imagine yourself as one of the characters from the book and you want to know what kind of solution the characters can find to a problem that seems unsolvable.

Unfortunately, there are so many marriages that end without a fight, or without fighting enough for each other. Nowadays, we think that if something seems unfixable at first glance, what we need to do is throw it away. Find something else that works instead of trying to fix what we had. This book shows the reader how everything can be managed and solved in a relationship where there is love. Although love is simply not enough for a relationship to work, it is a concrete solid base for a healthy, working relationship.

Read this book. If you're a teen, a young adult or you're older. Read it, because I believe that everyone can find something useful and magical in it.

I read it. I laughed. I cried. I learned from it. I fell in love with it. Now I recommend it dearly to everyone.

Well... what a huge disappointment. Also, I've never read a book that ended in such an underwhelming cliffhanger as this one. I guess that could be counted as an achievment.

I used to be obsessed with all of Erin Watt's books. This books was just Disappointment-Land all over again, just like the last book of The Royals series.

I hate Beth or Lizzie or whatever she wants to call herself. She is the most selfish character I've ever read about, pretending that she is the only one hurting, not having any empathy whatsoever towards anyone, risking Chase's freedom multiple times, and somehow forcing her feelings onto Chase. The whole plot felt forced and unreal. The only believable things all throughout the book were Chase's advices and opinions. He was straightforward and honest. Other than that, this whole book was just a huge mess.
If you don't want to disappoint yourself, skip this book.
