Bardugo topped her first book on such another level. She found a way to intertwine politics, adventure, magic and one of the best character developments out there into one brilliant fantasy work.
Kaz and his crew (specially the outstanding Nina) deal with the aftermaths of their almost impossible heist in Six of Crows while changing the Grisha world as we know it.

Leigh's writing morphs with each character in their respective chapters and just works perfectly.
Definitely one of the best YA (not so much YA though) fantasy out there.

PS. And those brilliant cameos from the original Grisha trilogy gave me life. *coughs* the Ruined *coughs*

One of the most unique books I've read. Weird. Creepy. Gory. Real. But oh, how fun. Most of the time I found myself reading this with one stupid smile on my face. I kept enjoying this more and more as our main character continued on doing whatever it had to be done to get his hands on Guinevere Beck.

The narrator's voice was extremely enjoyable and the way he doesn't hold anything back made me really appreciate it more. I got scared at some point because I started to somehow root for him and even feel a bit connected to his thoughts. But don't worry, I'm not that psychopathic.

I did feel like I could predict the ending which kinda happened and left me a bit underwhelmed. But it still doesn't affect the whole reading experience.
I'm really excited to pick up Hidden Bodies soon!
