Kate Alice Marshall is one of my auto-read authors. Her newest novel, A Killing Cold is atmospheric and full of things I love in a story.

I recommend if you like thrillers with:
❄️ remote settings with no contact with the outside world
❄️ rich people who behave badly
❄️ messy family relationships
❄️ dual timelines
❄️ unreliable narrators
❄️ winter/snowy weather

This historical horror ghost story is a quick, atmospheric read. It is the perfect read for a cold winter night when you are in the mood for something spooky. I recommend reading while cuddled up under a warm blanket with your reading buddy while drinking a mug of hot chocolate.

White King is the third book in @juangomezjurado’s Red Queen series. This series is an action packed international crime thriller trilogy that follows Antonia Scott a highly and specially trained spy. This third book has us racing around with Antonia and her partner, Jon, as they attempt to take down Mister White.

I highly recommend this book and series if you love:
👀 international settings (Madrid Spain)
👀 fast pace and tons of action
👀 tough female protagonists
👀 unique investigations
👀 spy novels

Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.
This one was not for me. I could not get into the story. I was bored with it and not interested in finding out what happens.
