My goal for this year is to read more classics, this was a good start but not entirely for me - I think I'm going to find the writing style of classics hard and the terminology which is used.

This book took me too my happy place, being based on the south Devon coast in a town where ive spent many days during my life. Ive read Bramley before and love her writing style and this book was no different. I loved the sisters and how they came together (like me and my siblings). Overall, I just found this a very wholesome, lovely and easy read.
