Something is different about Winnie, she is sick and tired all the time. Pan and Vane are worried but can’t seem to get anything out of her. When she finally starts to feel better she doesn’t remember what happened to her. Meanwhile, the croc, Hook, the fae queen and the royals for Dark Land are coming together to put an end to Pan’s rule. Will everyone survive and what has taken over Winnie? This is book 3 of the Vicious Lost Boys series. It is a dark, why choose, Peter Pan retelling. This book was a bit more focused on the plot than the spice. There was a lot going on that made me really have to pay close attention to understand who everyone was and how they were connected. The book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger for other characters but really wraps up the Winnie and her lost boys story. Overall, I enjoyed the book and the series as a whole.

Now that Pan has his shadow back on the island, he still needs to capture it and tie it back to him. Of course, it escapes into Hook’s territory so Pan has to wait until Hook gives him permission to search for it. Meanwhile, Winnie is trying to convince Vane to officially be apart of her harem of men. Vane has his own shadow which is so powerful and violent that at some moments he has a hard time controlling it. When his shadow comes out, everyone around has to be careful not to be killed. Will Pan be able to recover his shadow from Hook’s territory without starting a war, will Winnie get to bang Vane, and will Vane’s shadow kill someone important? This is book two of the Vicious Lost Boys Series and is a dark, fantasy, why choose, Peter Pan retelling. I really am enjoying this series but when it comes time to write a review I realize how much the story bounces around. It is so hard to write a review that doesn’t just retell the whole book! The one thing that was a ten out of ten was the scene between Winnie, Kas, and Bash against the never tree 🥵 Such a great quick and spicy read!

Winnie Darling has grown up hearing her crazy mother talk about Pan and Neverland and how all Darling women are taken on their 18th birthday. Well, tonight is Winnie’s 18th birthday and nothing has happened. Late that night a dark shadow appears in her doorway and next thing she knows she is waking up chained to a bed. She meets Kas and Bash who call themselves “lost boys” and then he sees Peter Pan. He tells her that she has something of his and he wants it back. Does Winnie know what Pan wants and will she go insane like all the Darling women before her? This is book 1 of the Vicious Lost Boys Series and is a dark, why choose, Peter Pan retelling romance. This is a very quick read and has lots of good smut. I enjoyed the plot of the book as well. I thought the take of this Peter Pan retelling was fun and dirty which is my favorite type 🙂 It leaves the story on a bit of a cliffhanger but I have already started book 2!

Ashley has just moved into her new condo with her boyfriend, Chad, and they are both starting college. Her other boyfriend and Chad’s best friend, Jase, lives just next door. On their first day at the house, Ashley finds out her annoying and hot step brother, Ares, is moving in too. Problem with that is Chad and Ares HATE each other. Ares seems to have a thing for Ashley and is always walking around the house naked and making flirtatious comments at her. Jase starts the school year off by telling Ashley that he actually has to live with his fake girlfriend Julie which Ashley doesn’t understand. Why can’t Jase just tell his family that he doesn’t love Julie and move on. Things between her and Jase start to get more complicated and scary when Ashley finds out who her mother really is. What secrets are being kept from Ashley and will her relationships survive? This is book 1 in a dark, college, reverse harem duet. It is also a bullying/enemies to lovers romance. This book has so many twists and turns that I found myself rooting for different main characters at different points in the story. Book 1 does end on a huge cliffhanger that has me dying to start the second one. The spice in this book is hot AF!! I cannot wait to see what happens!

Erica or Rica has grown up around Michael and Trevor her whole life. Her parent’s and theirs have always tried to force a relationship between her and Trevor. Erica has alway secretly been obsessed and in love with Michael. When Michael shows her some interest one Devil’s Night, Erica lets go of all of her reservations and fears and just embraces the craziness that is Michael and his friends. That night changes everything for all involved, and Michael and his friends all blame Erica. Did Erica betray the horsemen and how are the 4 men going to get their revenge? This is an enemy to lovers and a slow burn romance. It is book 1 in the Devil’s Night series. The angst in this book is on a whole nother level! When Erica and Michael have their first kiss in the flashback, I thought it was so hot and amazing. I am not a big fan of series that focus on one couple per book so I am not sure if I will be finishing the series but the first book definitely lived up to the hype.

Colin is the drummer to a very popular and successful band, 22 Goats. He is heading home to Seattle for his best friend's wedding and is excited to be around people that knew him before the fame. Amy is very excited for her brother and his fiance’s upcoming wedding and she is especially excited for the one person that has RSVPd yes and no plus one, Colin. Amy has been in love with Colin for her whole life. He was their neighbor growing up and best friends with her brother and the way he treated her was so much nicer and sweeter than her brother. Amy is a little neive and insecure that she will never find love. She has only ever had 1 boyfriend and he wasn’t very good at sex. When Colin and Amy are reconnected at the wedding, Amy can feel the mutual connection and attraction but Colin keeps referring to her as the little sister he never had. She has accepted his help to get a job in LA and has even agreed to live with him until she can find a place. Will Amy be able to get Colin to see her as more than his best friend’s sister, and will Colin stop fighting himself and let happiness win. This is a brother’s best friend romance and it was amazing! I started this book back in October and stopped because I had ARCs to read and I just wasn’t feeling it. When I restarted the book, I couldn’t put it down and read it all in 1 day! This book has such good spice, the teaching scene 😍I really enjoyed when Amy gets a bit of revenge on Colin when she shows up at his house feeling confident and radiant. She shows him exactly what he is missing. This is a great book for someone who is looking for a more contemporary romance but with lots of spice!

Dolly has just moved back to her small hometown after not being able to cut it as a ballet dancer in the city. She isn’t too thrilled about having to move back in with her dad and is trying to find a job and housing ASAP. Tristan moved to Cherry Falls to get a fresh start and to get away from his “bad boy” image. One night while drunk, he confessed to his best friend that he has always had a crush on Dolly even though he knows he is too old for her. When he hears that she is looking for a place to live, she comes up with a great idea to post his extra room for rent. Dolly calls an advertisement for a room and when she shows up to look at it, she finds that the room is in Tristan’s house! Dolly has always been drawn to Tristan and doesn’t know how she will survive living with him. This is a steamy novella with an age gap romance. I enjoyed this book and it delivered exactly as advertised. A tattooed, older, bad boy is always a great male main character for me.

In order to make a lot of money quickly, she signs up for a sugar daddy website. Katie has always been interested in being with 2 guys at once so she agrees to meet them. When she meets with the guys and instantly feels a connection with Rick. Rick is laid back and easy going and flirts non-stop. Carl on the other hand is the polar opposite of Rick. He is all business and very direct and short in conversation. The deal they propose is a weekend relationship to last 6 months. After the 6 months is up, they will all decide if it should continue or not. Will the relationship last the full 6 months and what is the main outcome that Carl is dreaming of? This is an age gap, MMF, MM, taboo book that has plot and spice. I enjoyed this book and found it entertaining. I thought Katie brought a nice element to the already spicy relationship that is Carl and Rick. There was a small twist that is revealed early on that Carl helps Katie navigate. Overall, this is a nice introduction to a taboo type book.

ARC REVIEW
This picks up right where the last book ended with Nico thinking that Brianna left him. Once Toby and Jodie get there they finally convince him that she wasn’t lying about giving him a chance and that if she is gone something terrible has happened. Brianna wakes up in a room with an attached bathroom filled with her belongings. She is feeling groggy still from whatever drugs her kidnapper gave her. She doesn’t quite understand who took her and why they are keeping her in such a nice room. It isn’t until her kidnapper makes himself known the Brianna realizes she is in serious trouble. She is pretty sure Nico and the guys will come save her, but the longer she is kept hostage, the more doubt creeps in. Will Nico save Brianna before her kidnapper breaks her and will they be able to be together. This is the 15th book in the Knight’s Ridge Empire series and the final book in the Nico and Bri love story. This book is much darker than any of the other books and had me on the edge of my seat. I absolutely am in love with the man Nico has turned into and feel like his character has had the most development and change out of all the guys in the series. I cannot wait to see whose story we get next!
