First book from Kinsella that I read, and a fun light read.

The ending is kinda comical and predictable, and pacing is rather rushed for the last two or three chapters. Still a thoroughly fun and enjoyable read!

A fun, lighthearted read, although honestly I was against my impulse to drop it halfway since I couldn't get past the few first pages due to how volatile the main character is, haha.
I like how the story actually give the MC another set of friends instead of going the easy way by having her best friends joined her band.
Will continue to read the series until the last book!

For an Indonesian teenlit that was published over a decade ago, I think this novel kinds of ahead of its time, by introducing sci-fi element as a part of its main theme. I really like how the twists and turns unveil on this book, even though the pace is rather fast and slightly clunky on some parts. The dynamics between the main trio is also interesting, and I like all of them. Lots of references and the author does show their work, so kudos for that. Some minor errors on the foreign language parts, but overall still very enjoyable read!

A teenlit that I've been wanted to read back then when I was in middle grade and finally managed to read.

At first, I thought it's a translated novel since the writing style is just like what you'd typically found in, well, translated novel. A pleasant surprise, nevertheless, since it's such an enjoyable read and page turner. The slight twist and turn on the plot and the mood of this book is refreshing, and most of the characters are endearing. Kana's dad is the MVP for me I guess haha
