pulled an all nighter only to finish this book and I absolutely don't regret anything! I've never read THAT MUCH in one go and OBVIOUSLY this is a 5 stars. I L O V E this book so much, the world the characters, the intrigue, the storytelling, the writing style (Dabos really popped of on this one) -- EVERYTHING!

The relationship between Thorn and Ophelie is A-MA-ZING, it is not some sort of "I loved you from the begging and I'm nothing without you" type of relationship. It's much more detailed, the small attentions are ADORABLE, they truly care for each other and it's very intricate!

Also the story is mind blowing! so much depth, so many characters with interesting and unique backgrounds but they resonate with each other.

I'm so biased for the book, this serie and THORN AND OPHELIE OMG they're so so so cute I'm dying.

omg what just happened?
it can't be the end.
I'm already missing it
no it can't be the end.

This was the 1st play I have ever read and it was good ?? I didn't thought I would enjoy this genre and it's definitely different from what I am used to read but it was refreshing to vary my reads.

So, this was messed up like obviously it's a tragedy hence the end (lol) but it still surprised me lmao
I knew it was going to go wrong somewhere but THAT! I didn't expect it hahaha. I found the end quite.. funny?? to be honest, it was supposed to be sad and devastating but it was so all over the place and the fight scene ????? I'm so used to modern combat/war scene that it really surprised me and it made me laugh somehow?? It was a lot happening in the span of 3 pages and ~10 lines lol

Anyways, I don't know how I'm supposed to grade this, it was good but at the same time I was also confused because it's so new to me.. I didn't read it in English but I'm sure the writing is exquisite!
