Fantastic book with a great concept - what if white supremacists were actual, literal monsters?

Yes, all those content warnings do apply, the cover is literally a Klan hood, please be ready for no-holds-barred racism to be directed at the main character constantly.

An enjoyable follow-up to Abarat #1. The world-building and character designs continue to be absolutely bonkers and fun. If you had issues with the pacing in the first book they continue here. I don’t like to write spoilery reviews so I will just say with the way Days of Magic, Nights of War ends I’m not surprised that I thought that was the end of the series when I first read it as a twelve year old.
