Thousand Autumns: Qian Qiu (Novel) Vol. 2 by Meng Xi Shi
4.0
This book was relatively good, I liked the plot and the character development. It was just really hard to get through honestly. The first book was pretty easy to read and this one was just slow paced. However, I like the way the book made me rethink everything I had read and also Shiwu is great- I hope he reaches the finale.
The Husky & His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun (Novel) Vol. 4 by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou

This book would have received a higher rating if Chu Wanning and Mo Ran actually communicated. If they did I think this series would’ve been a stand-alone.

Before picking this book up I was in a danmei slump. However, I'm happy to say that has ended due to the sheer amazingness of this book. It was sad and I hadn't expected a certain someone to - spoiler warning - die, but it wasn't so bad as we got to see them together even when he was dead.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced and kept me on my toes. My only issue with it was that I would’ve loved to see more communication. Whenever I think they are making progress they just end up in bed together. There was wayyy too many sex scenes for my liking.

It was sad and I expected that, but nothing could have prepared me for the read.

This book is better than the first. My view on Xaden has changed. He is no longer a red flag, instead he is a green flag. I can’t wait for the next book. Also why does both books end On a cliffhanger?
The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy

This book was something. Had to read it for English class but it wasn’t boring and I’d probably recommend it to others. The actual ‘terror’ was expected but unexpected at the same time. Poor Velutha 😔

Read it as my wider reading book for English lit. I really liked it though and often looked forward to reading it.
