This had its moments that were fun - but overall I think too much of the plot centered around the two main characters being really stupid. The twisty murdery stuff was definitely the high light

LOVE - I'm a big fan of reading about day-to-day life with a few "wtf" moments and this absolutely nailed all of that. I won't shut up about how important fiction is to understand other people's perspectives and build empathy, and this is a perfect example of that. So many perspective shifts that open your eyes to the situations that unfold.

I loved so much of this book - but it ended so abruptly I had to go back and re-listen to the last 5 minutes to make sure I didn’t accidentally miss something. It was headed toward no brainer 5 stars for me but unless there’s a sequel I feel a bit disappointed with the lack of resolution at the ending (please let there be a sequel because this was so fun)
