I really loved this book! It was probably the first time I've read something in apollo's perspective that I felt that it was fitting to his image. In general, a good read, just not 5 stars because the ending... I don't know if I will hate the big deviation from mythology BUT I hope it will prove to me in the second book that it was good.

simply WHAT THE FUCK WAS THIS??? I was truly expecting some dark things but not the whole book being around rape. The characters don't develop any sense of wrongness, neither they have much scenes of becoming closer or redemption. it was just romanticized the rape and the violence all over it.

honestly I was missing this world so much!! I love how sassy Oak is and the glimpses we get of Jude and Cardan's story from other pov AND how it's going. 
Obviously it will never be as good as Cruel Prince was, the twisted end made me crazy and mad at the same time, but that's the magic of Holly Black style, makes you consider what's right or wrong, who's telling the truth, who you can trust, etc. At the end the answer will always be: no one.
