this gave me all the feels, Mac and Freya’s dynamic made me swoon and giddy throughout the book. The pacing was done well third act conflict wasn’t rushed which made me invested in the characters. Though i feel like the scene of Freya discussing her body type and fatphobia to her friends could’ve been done a bit better. 

While the main characters were great, I felt like some of the things they said or did felt juvenile like playing never have I ever (even though everyone was thirty or above) or some of the things they were referencing (like saying ‘the sex’ instead of just sex). They did throw me off but I was able to look past it bc one thing I absolutely loved abt this book was the constant yearning and angst

Scarlet constantly slut shaming her mum really annoyed me. Talking abt how Penelope needed therapy when scarlet needs it as well. Overall a nice read but I’m way more invested in Justine’s story with Dean
