I was worried that this book would be overhyped, but I’m excited to say that the hype is well-deserved!

The Alchemy Series has secured a special place in my heart, from the moment I started reading Unfurl in the beginning of this year. Just when I thought the next book couldn’t top the previous, or get even hotter, I was always proven wrong! I absolutely loved each and every book I’ve read in the Alchemy series. I connected to the characters in each book in a special and unique way and I always craved more of their stories. Always Alchemy is an absolute gift from Elodie Hart that gives me exactly what I want- more of these characters and their stories, after they fell in love and established their relationships!
Always Alchemy is told through the perspective of all of the romance characters- and there are even a few chapters told from the POV of other characters, which is a delightful surprise! Elodie did a beautiful job weaving so many POVs together in a way that felt seamless. This story spans across many years, showing pivotal moments’ of our beloved characters’ journeys after they have found happily ever after. Always Alchemy is more than just a happily-ever-after epilogue, though. We still follow heart-wrenching struggles and emotional moments. There is an immense amount of growth taking place for many of the characters in Always Alchemy. A touch of humor here and there is a hallmark of the Alchemy series for me, and Always Alchemy has some scenes that really had me laughing.
This book fulfilled my strong desire for more Alchemy, and also illustrated the ups and downs of life after finding a happily ever after, while highlighting the most beautiful and poignant moments that humans can experience. It’s also important to mention that Elodie Hart delivered incredibly well-written and scorching spicy scenes, as usual. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to read Always Alchemy early, in exchange for honest feedback. I highly recommend reading all of the books in the Alchemy series first, and you will be so grateful for the treat that is Always Alchemy. I’m so excited for

A cute romance about video game developers in a cozy cabin setting! I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope, but I think it works best in novellas so the miscommunication doesn’t drag on for too long. The length of this book is perfect for this type of romance. If it were any longer, it would risk becoming a little too boring. A very fun Ali Hazelwood story, just not my favorite! As a video game lover, I would LOVE a full-length Ali novel with game developers in the future.
