Together We Burn by Isabel Ibañez

I saw through this from the very beginning. The writing was poor in the sense that the characters felt flat. The plot also felt boring. For a book featuring dragons, it just wasn’t great.

When you can get mad at the main character, it’s solid writing.

I do feel as if this book was a bit tough to follow due to the time jumps. I think it also could’ve been tightened a bit.

I know most people have feelings about the ending but again, that’s a sign of solid writing IMO.

Tessa is a bit of a Mary Sue but overall, easy read. Good book to escape. The writing isn’t mind blowing but it’s not awful.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.

I tried. It just felt like a multiple personalities-esque diagnosis which feels incredibly dangerous.
