A bit of a slow start then turned until an emotional rollercoaster I’m obsessed with ?? Perfect balance of fantasy / wlw enemies to lovers / mystery, but to leave it on a cliffhanger like that!! I need a sequel and I need it now!!

Exactly what you’d expect from a book like this - slightly cringey and unrealistic. Wasn’t a fan of romanticising r*pe, but other than that the story had some potential despite it being rushed. Snippet of the next book seemed to have more of a storyline but not sure I’ll read the rest of them

This book is absolutely phenomenal and no word of a lie when I say I couldn’t put it down. The writing was incredible and really draws you in, the way the author slowly reveals the information is so clever.

Ellie is an incredibly unreliable narrator and you’re led to believe she’s guilty, you almost want to dislike her for constantly playing a victim complex. Until you realise she actually is the victim, albeit definitely not perfect.

My jaw dropped when I released the courtroom perspective was actually from Sabrina/Willow’s perspective, and not Ellie’s like you’re led to believe. The characters are so well written I didn’t suspect Willow at all. I am very intrigued by Lozza and her accusations towards Ellie at the end though, whether there’s any basis to them or if it’s her own trauma and paranoia speaking.

The story addresses a lot of sensitive issues in a really appropriate way, some of which (the drugs and alcohol) are used to further push the fact that Ellie is an unreliable narrator. It’s an incredible psychological and mind twisting thriller, and I’m excited to read other works by this author

A bit of a slow starter, and then suddenly goes a bit too fast. I wish the story was paced out a little better and there wasn’t so much back and forth between the present and past. Also wasn’t as dark as it was sold to be, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

People seem to suggest that Soren ends up being a good guy during their HEA but still struggling to see that and actually like him, but each to their own.

I really wish this was longer! I love the story and I’m gutted the next ones haven’t been translated into English yet as this one ends on a cliff hanger, I’ll definitely be reading those once they have been

Definitely a feel good story and a nice and light easy read, a little bit predictable at times. I do now have an overwhelming desire to move to Greece and meet a nice Greek man though..

This was honestly so much better than I expected it to be, and firmly established for me that enemies to lovers is wayyyyy better than friends to lovers. I love Violet and Eli and their chemistry and I wish we’d got more of them post accepting feelings, and I’m super excited to read the stories for the rest of the brothers at some point

It’s so clear how well researched this book is, it’s so well written and draws you in, I struggled to put it down, despite reading it before about 10 years ago

Would prefer to give this 4.5 stars as I found it was a little bit slow to start, but again it’s so incredibly well researched and the story draws you in. I don’t remember this book as well as the first one so the plot twists got me (again), but I found it difficult to put down, especially the second half of the book

I was honestly stressed the whole time reading this book. I hated Wolf being in pain and I found Torak more insufferable than usual, but Renn really does it like no other, she’s my main character
