While I do appreciate that this book compelled me to clean my closets and provided me with book recommendations, I can't get past the fact that studies were just mentioned without citations or references.

Also, I can't seem to get into the quest-for-happiness type books. Especially one that does not involve travel, charity, or adversity. I kept thinking about this speech I watched a whole ago that criticized our obsession with being happy.

I regret buying this book. I had thought this book would describe the cultures of the places and people she met during her many travels. Instead, I read a novel about how travel makes it easier to get away with infidelity. This book took me forever to finish. The main character is extremely unlikable. One of those books I wish I had never stumbled upon.

I've never cried over a book like I did when I finished Flowers for Algernon.
