Ace of Shades is an addictive reading, the world building is very interesting and unusual. A lot of conflicts between the different families of City of Sin. Most of them are in the head of big Casino, which makes you think about the famous city of Las Vegas!

We first discover the character of Enne Salta, she came to the "City of Sin" in order to find her mother who disappeared several months ago. She is a bit scared because she knows nothing about this city. But quickly, she will find herself mixed up with gangs... And her research will lead her to Levi.

I had the opportunity to read this short story before its release. I love atmospheric and creepy books so I was kind of happy to finally start this one!
The first pages were quite confusing. It was pretty difficult to understand what was going on, but I decided to just continue reading without thinking too much.

Pet Dad is a really cute book. The illustrations are really great and adorable, I love the pastel colors (yellow, blue/green, and orange mostly).

I love how Elanna Allen mixed the classic font with some ink-writing, it made the story more alive!

4,5/5

I had the chance to read this book before it was released, and I’m so glad because it was so good.
During this reading, we will share the life of these 4 girls. Undead Girl Gang is, in addition to the magic theme, a story about: friendship (which was not won at first), grieving, love! The plot and the writing are so good, it was almost impossible to stop my reading before the end of the story.

I slowly get back to thrillers, with a penchant for psychological thrillers. Here, we can clearly classify this novel in the Young Adult category in addition to the thriller genre.

Each chapter presents a different point of view: Hattie, the main character, a young woman who is found dead very quickly in the book. Del, the policeman / sheriff who will be in charge of the investigation. And Peter, a young professor of English literature.

I love novels with different points of view so I was delighted to find it with this book.

Hattie is a 17-year-old, soon to be 18, living in a small village and dreaming of a future in New York city. But she is different from other girls, she plays “comedy”, every day, every hour, without exception. I mean, she will endorse a different character depending on who she is with. She wants to please everyone and therefore change her personality so that everyone appreciates her. In the end, no one really knows who the real Hattie is … not even her …
