When I started reading it, it seemed as if I had been blindfolded & left on a highway where I could hear the cars rushing past me & I was supposed to stay alive. It was as if some of my senses weren't working. I was reading the words but half of my brain was like "whaaaaaa...t". I could see that I was in the middle of something but I couldn't quite understand what. And then I got to know that Dexter was a whole series! Maybe I was supposed to know things before getting into this book
