Okay, so this was even darker than I thought it was going to be. Which is not a problem for me at all. After what happened in the first scenes, I was all in. I was so curious to see where this one went. Unfortunately, I just think this book is too long. Around 50% in, I was just over it. I like the idea of these two and them getting a hea together, but man, I just didn't need this many pages. If you love long books and dark romance with non/dub-con, you may really enjoy this one. Check the trigger warnings!

WHAT AN EMOTIONAL RIDE! Okay, so this one has been on my TBR for waaaaay too long. I'm so glad I finally read this book. This is a marriage in trouble with a ton of baggage and bad luck. I know that sounds like a downer, but honestly it made them overcoming it all so satisfying. I listened to this one on audio! I definitely felt so many emotions and I wanted to shake some sense into the characters. Seeing them get it together and figure everything out was everything! It you want something that reaches right into your chest and squeezes your heart, I recommend this one!

Good for a novella, just a few too many romance cliches for me. The authors writing is great, so I’m curious to check out more books by her at some point!
