Really good! It took me some time to read this, about 6 weeks in small chunks, bit I never wanted to DNF. I would think about Yetu even on days I didn't read. Really wish there was more

This is a wonderful cozy monster romance read. Exactly what I was hoping for based on the rec that brought me to it.

Rourke is very sweet and I really enjoyed that Violet has goals outside of this romance. It was fun to be introduced to the town through her eyes

I've like some of this authors other novels more just because of pacing, but this was still a fun romp.

Not for the faint of heart spice wise. Here there be monsters

Loved!! What a surprise!

Rich world building, lovable characters, twists that are predictable but still tug at the heart strings. This little book really got me

This is a great romantic Gothic kind of story. Lots of horrific little moments but overall it is focused in on Nena and Nestors love story and I couldn't help but care for them. Beautiful prose that you can sink your teeth into. Would read from this author again.

Only wish that things had moved a teeny bit slower at the end. Big important scenes didn't get a lot of page time!

Very charming. Read it cover to cover on a short plane ride and I am convinced now that T Kingfisher is an autoread author for me!  Immediately passed it on to my mother in law who doesn't read what I read and she also liked it a lot!

Vivid language and a fun mesh of retelling and myth. And as always I loved the knight!

What can I even say? I loved it just as much as the first. The magic, the lore, the characters, it all really works for me. Absolutely can't wait til the next one.

Special shout out to Tripp, whose backstop genuinely made me cry. Didn't see it coming

So many books that take me a while to get into I cannot get myself to give them a five star rating. But I can't bear to downgrade ninth house for my own mood when I started reading.

Alex and Darlington are such amazing characters and I am enthralled by this seedy, magical vision of New Haven. I loved pretty much everything about this book and I was expecting to find it super offensive after a fee reviews I saw tbh.

Had to immediately move on to Hellbent!

If the beginning of this book felt less rushed it would be a 5. It's so close I can taste it. But it took me 3 tries to really start it and I was desperate to read and bored so that's not great.

That said the ending is so perfectly done. I cried like a little baby. Great characters. GREAT setting description super fun super gay. I'm all in.

This book has me crying over the ending. It was very good. Had some issues in places with how people were referred to being confusing
