The Cathedral & the Bazaar: Musings on Linux and Open Source by an Accidental Revolutionary by Eric S. Raymond

One of those "basis" books that you need to read at some point.
How to Change the World: Change Management 3.0 by Jurgen Appelo

Nice, easy to read and short book, very interesting because of the holistic view about change management. It's very good as an introductory book to this topic, or even as a quick general reminder.
Depending on the expectations, those pros might be the cons as well: everything stays at a very superficial place, without specific examples or actions.
My rate is not so high because I had already read "Fearless change" in the past, which personally, I find much more interesting if you want more concrete ideas to be put in practice (indeed it is mentioned several times in the book).

Apprenticeship Patterns: Guidance for the Aspiring Software Craftsman by Dave Hoover, Adewale Oshineye

Nice to read book, HIGHLY recommended for newbies on software development... or even to not so newbies :-)
It's a cliché as an opinion for this book, but as many others, I wish I had read it some years ago :-)

The Chrysanthemum and the Sword: Patterns of Japanese Culture by Ruth Benedict

Very interesting book, though you need to be HIGHLY interested in the Japanese culture, specially in the context of the WW2. If not, you will probably find it very boring.
Anyway, as a classic, highly recommended for any Anthropology student.
