okay so I enjoyed this book more than the first one I could see a more defined plot and a stable storyline, the relationship between the characters was okay and I think the tropes fit into the book's aesthetic really well nevertheless I think the writing was not for me, it felt careless and overlooked in a way like it would just skip over major details of the story as if the writer was supposed to already know that. it was kind of written like a Wattpad novel yk? the big-time jumps and many of them with not much context between the chapters left me wanting a lot more.

damn.

okay, the author really knows how to write love interests. I absolutely loved their relationship and its development throughout the story it was very flowy and very natural, and so was the timing in the book, i think it was really well written it was realistic and I really enjoyed the pace. I think with the addition of a main plotline the book would be downright perfect, it missed that big problem which is worked through the whole book and is eventually solved at the end, nevertheless, I could take the FMC's life going back on track as it because it was still a big part of the book implicitly though I would have liked for a more explicit problematic. the writing style is wonderful and very according to the book, and the spice fits in very well with the storyline. i love the little bits we get to see of past couples and the small teasers of future ones i think it makes the book more personal and I as a reader really connected with it. I need everyone to read this because I'm not joking when i say this is the it couple, the sweetness of them mixed with the reality of some tougher topics makes them seem mature and real and overall, in love.

i will read anything Amelie Rhys throws my way.

This book had me sneaking around when i was busy just so i could read some more.

The character development is impressive and honestly so fucking good, it was just what the book needed. The relationship between the main characters feels very real and you could practically feel their pull for eachother.

There were some plot twists i was not expecting at all and i am so glad the author had the capacity of actually pulling them off without me having any suspicions about what was gonna happen it really made the book a lot more interesting and had my anxiety through the roof but it was all worth it.

The writing is very nice, i was very involved in the story and whenever something happened i could feel for the characters, so it managed to actually get to me, it definitely was not superficial.

Thr spice was really good, there could have been a little more variability so each scene felt more original but it was good whatsoever.

There was not a main plot to mold the book to, like a kind of "goal" which is achieved at the end of the book apart from the development of the romance but it was rather like tiny plot points were appearing along the way (which i have no problem with when the book actually follows through with a main problematic) and personally i feel like when plot is not stablished since the beginning the story ends up feeling rather messy.

But aside from that i enjoyed pretty much everything about the novel.

I couldnt put this book down.

The premise was so interesting and it caught my attention really easily.

I think the characters were really enjoyable and the story wasnt predictable, everything was a pleasent surprise along the way so i was never let down because i already guessed everything that would happen.

The spice was really good, it was descriptive and passionate, and really just like good smut should be written, besides it fit well with the timeline and was not used to fill in plot gaps.

The tropes complemented togather nicely and the developtment of the relationship felt very real in my opinion, which also made me connect with their situation deeper and whenever something happened to them i would feel for them. I really lived their dynamic and felt their chemistry.

I have never read a tennis romance since i dont really see the appeal towards the sport but this book definitely had me grasping every little detail i could, and i am very happy that the book had actuall sport talk, and that the tennis was also part of the main problematic, because in some books they only say some character is a sports player and that's it like it is a character trait and never once mention the sport again, so i really appreciated the actual view into a tennis player which also made their story more realistic since their routines probably resembles someone with their same job in real life.

I feel like the time jumps were too close togather and there could have been some filler chapters to avoid them, also there was a lot of describing actions past actions when there was a jump in time and in my opinion if there were some scenes were those actions were actually happening instead of just mentioning them it would give the feeling that the storyline is less "careless"

Overlooking the detail of the time marks i would absolutely recommend this book to everyone, because i dont know what it had in it but i just couldt put it down and read until my eyes bled.

This book's storyline was amazing. It managed to connect with me on a huge level and i think that is something really hard and rare to achieve in books. I could feel the characters' pain and other feelings, i would get happy for them and just feel them. It feels like you know this people in real life, like you suffered their story and that shit is just incredible, is something all books should be able to do but unfortunately only a few manage to master.

There were not much characters ro it was easy to remeber them all and they all had very distinctive personalities which made the book much easier to read and helped with the understanding.

The writing was great and i think everything was wonderfully incorporated, the dual timeline was writen perfectly, the flashbacks made sense, and the spicy scenes fit well along with what what happening in the story and it never felt forced or extra, besides i think everything in relation to mental illnesses and triggers everything was very well writen and it made the understanding of the character's reactions and thought processes very clear.

The plot was so interesting and it kept me hooked throughout the whole book, it was emotional, healing and held a feeling of longing it was truly a beautiful story that happened there, what went down between the main characters was a lot of story yet the author took the time to detail everything and lay all the emotions out on the table.

I feel like for how "lengthy" and intensive the first 60% was (which was mainly explaining the characters' past with eachother with help of a dual timeline) the development of the main problem was shorter than what i would have liked, it felt a bit too sudden, specially its solution, personally i think the author had enough material and talent to drag the ending a bit more to create a bigger climax but it was still a great read and i would absolutely recommend this book.
