This. Book. Is. AMAZING. A perfect autumn read, but I read it in midsummer and I was okay. But it’s more for autumn.

This book is kind of slow, so you can basically stop wherever you want and you’ll be fine. It goes back and forth through time (past and present) and some of the chapters are different POVs (mostly Addie’s, but some Henry and one Luc) and they don’t give you a heads up when they change POVs, but you’ll get it soon enough.

It was a really slow start, but once I got to know the characters and the layout it all started to go a little faster and right at the end it was like BOOM speed.

Overall I loved this book. It’s one of the few books I would rate 5 stars. But I did start to get kind of bored in the middle of the book when it kept going back in time. I just wanted to know what was going to happen with Addie and Henry!!!

The ending was so beautiful. Chefs kiss. I mean the whole book was beautifully written, but the ending was so amazing. The fact Henry did that and Addie wasn’t there with him to do it made me so mad and so sad. My heart kept breaking for Addie. I cried multiple times and used half a tissue box

This wasn’t a bad book whatsoever. I liked it, but it wasn’t great. Lots of things didn’t really get cleared up. The love story was cute. I didn’t really like the “curse” or whatever it was that happened to them. But it was still good.
