I just cannot make myself finish this. First of all there's a graphic(ish) SA scene for literally no reason. It brings no character growth, it doesn't set our FMC into a personal arch- it merely is a tool to get the MMC to meet the FMC. Who magically has very little set backs due to be assaulted- she is deeply traumatized by her mother's past... which is.. something ig.
The MMC are advertised as morally grey and said to have their "instincts riding them hard" but half way in they still has her kidnapped and chained to a bed. Once she escapes and stands up for herself even more then their instincts back off enough to not imprison her?
Then you got the pacing issue and for fuck sake dude this BOOK IS SLOW. 50% in and she's still chained to the damn bed. We spend at least a chapter on her kidnapping and assault. She has almost no time to get to know her beta before bedding him. It's a mess. The whole book. Which is disappointing because I like the FMC a lot.

The idea is there but the small details is what messes this book up. If it was hammered out again with a editor or a peer group I could easily see this being one of the better ABO stories I've read.
That being said, there are a ton of problems.
-Things seem so disjointed I found myself getting confused on how much time had passed.
-Then you get the Alphas who are.. random at best and weirdly forced on you as a working group but the "chief" alpha could have easily been written out all together and it would have been fine 🤷♀️
-Don't forget about the male omega losing his daughter and like hardly ever crying about it unless it's relevant to the story.
-No multiple point of view so you really gotta guess what's going on in some of the guys heads.
-Sunshine "psychopath" murderer trope but the guy wears scarfs? Like all the time? Idk it gave me the ick. But he was more into the male omega than the FMC omega so I gave it a pass.
-3/4 guys wearing suits even though they're in a log cabin mansion in the woods- hiding from the government. It just doesn't make sense.

I waited too long to write this review and now I've forgotten most of the book.. so it's good in a mind numbing sort of way.

I couldn't connect with this book at all. Which really sucks cause I wanted to know what happened to Ranger so bad... but this book was truthfully, pretty boring imo.

Absolutely loved how the kids weren't pushed to the side in this book. Em and Ben were there the whole time and not always falling asleep like authors seem to do in other books I've read. I loved how Reid and Finn weren't Just trying to prove themselves to Cammie but also her children.

This book was easily a 4-5 for me until the very end when the author fumbled so hard I had to force myself to not DNF at 90% in.

including the male omega getting r*p** wasnt the straw that broke my love for this book.. it was how everyone seemed to forget or ignore that happened to him?? They praised their other omega for savimg him and after a doctor barely looks him over its just glossed over. It was so annoying and really gross of his Alphas to not be doting on him and comforting him all the time. Felt more like an OBAAA story then OOAAA because what the heck kind of alpha hears their omega was r*p** and just gives him a hug and says lets get you home? Like?? What???!

It was boring and forgettable af. I waited too long to write my review and now I can't even remember half the characters names... but I do remember the prop baby who is CONSISTENTLY ASLEEP!! That child naps over 80% of the book.

I definitely flew right through this book and while I love 2 omega stories... this one was kind of a miss for me. The Alphas really sucked... like.. a lot lol I found myself wishing the two omegas would leave the pack and be together but that was sort of the point at the beginning. I didn't find the Alphas groveling enough for my liking (especially to their male omega like wtf) and the 3rd act break up was so unexpected because wtf she had forgiven them then all the sudden was like omg they might reject me again? Like... sis bffr and at least stay for your omega!! But whatever, it worked out in the end.

My first switch omegaverse and I'm still on the fence about it. On one hand, I adored all these characters- on the other hand, the male omega really gets pushed to the side and it really irritated me.
Other that that, I had minimal complaints about the book which is pretty impressive for me. Loved the FMC for once too but did find myself getting a bit bored towards the end of the book. It probably could have been edited down a bit in length.
