The Madhouse Effect: How Climate Change Denial Is Threatening Our Planet, Destroying Our Politics, and Driving Us Crazy by Michael Mann, Tom Toles

informative

3.5

This information is SO important, but the tone is elitist and the writing is not suited to lower than college-level readers. It’s also not focused enough on the positives happening or what we can do, it actually feels more like the climate doomists they denounce in the book. I was hoping for a lot more from this.

I don’t feel comfortable rating this because it is just a peek into someone’s life, no plot or anything really. It’s amazing to me how lucky he was throughout his life across countries and across masters.

The blog chapters were incredibly annoying. Wish I could have skipped them but they were integral to the story. Otherwise great
