I do enjoy horror but unrealistic actions take me out of the story. Well written. Keep reading and it gets more foul and horrible. A quick read. So many trigger warnings.

I tried hard not to DNF. I hate that I got almost half way and was miserable everytime I pick this book up. I wont be finishing.

It reads like a movie which I enjoyed. Read in 2 days. Great writing. I didn't feel like I needed a history lesson or a dictionary while reading. The characters didnt make me care about them so Im not planning on continuing with the series. A good read if you like military fantasy.

The beginning dragged and the end was a wild ride. Predictable towards the end. The storyline was at times unbelievable.  None of yhe character had any depth. Im not sure why a son was written into the plot bc he added nothing. Eh
