It did feel like a fanfic, especially with Angel's chapters. Angel was very bland and lacked personality. As someone who is very interested in the music industry, I enjoyed Jimmy's perspectives, his story, and relationship with his band members. I kind of wish the story was only about them, lol.

Also, Jimmy's and Angel's relationship did not make any sense at all due to his fears. However, it is funny to read and easy to get into.

The story felt very flat. Frances was the only interesting character; the rest felt quite boring, to be honest.

It took me almost half of the book to get into it. However, once I got into the story, I found it hard to put down the book.

This is a great starter book for someone who is new to reading sapphic books. Imogen is a very realistic character when it comes to her internalised biphobia. Unfortunately, it felt like you didn't learn that much about her. The story consisted of a lot of characters, in my opinion, who were difficult to tell apart, especially with all the nicknames going around.

I had high expectations since I really enjoyed One Last Stop, and forbidden love is my number one favourite trope.

Unfortunately, it fell flat. Henry's and Alex's relationship came very suddenly. They had despised each other for years, but then they suddenly hook up? I expected a slow-burn romance between them, and I also think that would suit the book better.

The "history, huh?"-thing was cute.

No one writes twists and turns like Stephanie Garber.
