This was an amazingly creative and magical middlegrade read! I was immediately sucked into this book and loved the authorโ€™s whimsical storytelling. I loved following Spella in this story as she makes a new friend, goes to a magic school and tries to rescue Aunt Cauldroneyes. A Sky Full Of Dragons was such an imaginative fantasy book that young readers should absolutely adore. This book is sure to leave you smiling, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was an enjoyable Beauty & The Beast retelling. It was interesting seeing how Ever, this bookโ€™s beast, permanently injured Isa, the Belle of the story, when they were children. This element made the character relationships in this young adult tale more complex and interesting. I also liked the unique twist of the Fortressโ€™s servants being turned into shadows as well as the magical elements weaved into this story. Overall this was a great retelling.

This was a good gothic horror. I appreciated this bookโ€™s alternating timeline as it helped tell the story. The authorโ€™s writing style helped create an atmospheric and immersive reading experience. Sacrificial Animals was fairly slow paced and although it was well written, I did find myself losing interest in the story due to the pacing. Overall this was a pretty good reading month, and I did appreciate the incorporation of Chinese mythology.

This was a great mystery book! This book starts out with characters digging for dinosaur fossils on the beach and quickly becomes action packed and full of mystery. I immediately felt invested in the story and the characters and I couldnโ€™t wait to see how the book progressed. So much happened in this book, and it kept me guessing throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one and recommend it for mystery lovers.

This was an enjoyable fantasy romance. I loved how this story was told from dual povs between Keera and the Viper and I liked getting to know each of the characters as the book went on. This book was fairly slow paced, but there was a lot to the story and the world building. I loved the magical desert and the unique magic system since I havenโ€™t encountered anything like it in other books. Iโ€™m looking forward to the next book in this series, especially after that cliffhanger.
