I really enjoyed this light hearted paranormal romance read. I loved following Riley as she worked with Nick to solve her neighborโ€™s murder as well as working to control her psychic abilities. I liked the wide cast of characters and the overall storyline of this book. My only complaint with this one was that it felt unnecessarily long at times, but that being said I still flew through it rather quickly. Overall this was a great read.

This was a great middle grade fantasy and an excellent start to a new series. I enjoyed following Senka and Poppy in this tale.  I loved the authorโ€™s writing style as she told this imaginative story. I appreciated how Greek mythology was incorporated in this fantasy world that takes place between the realms of the living and dead. Overall this was an excellent read and I look forward to reading future books in this series.

This was an excellent young adult fantasy! The author did a great job with the world building and I was immediately captivated by the overall storyline. I loved following main character Saoirse in this story and found her to be a very complex character. There was so much packed into this book and so many unexpected twists. This was a book that I didnโ€™t want to put down and I canโ€™t wait to see how the story continues in the next book, Drown Me With Dreams.

This was a cute young adult romance. I liked the overall storyline of this book and how it was a Romeo and Juliet retelling, especially since I havenโ€™t read many. I appreciated the dual povs between Julie and Randall as I followed them throughout the story. The pacing of this book felt a bit rushed at times but overall this was a good read. Heads up that this book had a lot of food references and descriptions that will leave you hungry.

This was such an intriguing psychological thriller. This book had me questioning everything throughout the story. I loved the atmospheric island setting and the dual povs in this book as well as the unreliable characters. This book was a bit slow paced at times, but it didnโ€™t matter because I still didnโ€™t want to put this one down. Beautiful Ugly had a lot of good twists, especially at the ending. If you are looking for a good thriller, you may want to pick this one up.

I struggled to get into this one. I liked the overall concept of this book, but I didnโ€™t really care for any of the characters that were followed in the story. I appreciated the multiple povs and how each character had a distinct voice. This book had a lot of twisted and turns which helped it to be an interesting read, but unfortunately it just wasnโ€™t a favorite for me.
