“There are no curses. Only patterns meant to be broken. Dreams to chase. Hearts to hold. Magick to make.”

Another great Tate James series! Mercenaries, dark, romance, and plenty of spice (sometimes a little overdone IMO)

3.5 stars! I wish there were half stars.

Anywho… Persephone got on my nerves in this book. Constantly making stupid decisions and constantly upset and constantly fighting and getting back together with Hades. I get why the author made her a little more immature, because she is young and learning, but man is it hard to read some times.

Damn. I did not know she grew up Mormon. Dealing with her mom on top of religious expectations…

“It’s easier to believe a lie you’ve heard hundreds of times than the truth you’ve only heard once”

The narration on this was fantastic. The accents of each character truly made me feel like I was there. This was a beautiful and heartbreaking story with a few twists and turns along the way. Definitely recommend!

Kate Stewart does it again. She never disappoints. This was such a cute light holiday read. Laughter, steamy, and even some teary moments.

AND THE CAMEO from Ravenhood. Ahhhh just take me now. That earned this book another star for sure. I won’t say more so I don’t spoil anything but yes thank you more please, always.

“In the end, light is the only thing that has ever chased away darkness—the only thing that ever will. Seek truth in all things, my dearest girl. There can be no healing without it.”

4.5 stars from me! I loved so many things about this book. I was hoping for a twist or shock of some sorts at the end and it was a little underwhelming but still so good.

Mystery thriller, magic realism… this book was right up my alley! I loved it. More of this please.

A cute, clean Hallmark-esq romance! Super easy read, fake dating situation that goes exactly how you might guess.

I really enjoyed this one! Different from any fantasy I’ve read and I feel like the enemies to lovers trope was done SO WELL in this book! Something that felt more genuine and not annoyingly predictable.

I loved the narration on this. Definitely made the story come to life.
