hopeful, profound and impactful. stephanie foo has documented her journey with such painful precision that it made this all the more cathartic to read. this book began heavy, but when continuing on throughout, i felt so listened to although i was not the one talking. her passion and resilience for research and healing made this absolutely magnetic, and the focus on intersectionality throughout the memoir was incredibly powerful. this has easily changed how i think for the better.
