I really loved this book! Couldn't put it down, and read it in like 2 days. It was really really interesting to learn about how this famiy felt when they suspected their daughter was deaf, and their journey. It was really sad to watch as their daughter became more and more frustrated when she couldn't even communicate with her parents, and she and her parents were working SO hard so she could learn to speak. Very very cool book, I highly recommend it!!!!

This book was okay. The plot was very good, I liked the suspense, but the characters were totally predictable and the crush the girl had on the guy was completely pathetic. It was a nice read but I won't read it again or read any other books by this author.

Really an interesting book! A little strange, and I was less than pleased with the ending, but it kept me entertained.

Really really good book! I learned a lot about how the Nuremberg Trials were conducted to make sure that justice was done in a way that was fair to the accused. I learned a lot about the war criminals and even those charged seperately after the trial was done! I recommend the book.

This book was fictional but the facts shown in it were REALLY really interesting! This would be a great gift for a child or teen who is interested in Egpyt.

This book was SOOOOOOOOOOOO interesting!!!! It seemed different than many of her other books, with a slightly less dramatic ending. It spent a lot of time exploring the character of the suspects, and what made them tick. Definately an awesome book to read.

I did not enjoy this book. The plot itself was really good, actually, but the characters and their interactions were all wrong!!!! Picard called them all by their first names, talked about his feelings... The senior officers all called each other by first names... It's like the author tried to get inside the heads of the senior officers without really knowing them or understanding how the officers normally behaved.

Anyway, the basic plot was good, and I hope the author writes some more books with these awesome plots but less analysis of the feelings of the officers.

AWESOME book!!!!! The character development was great, the plot was great... I was a little sad that I learned so little about the villian, but I think that he must have been discussed in the first book in this series, which I didn't read.

Loved this book but sad because this is truly only part one, it did not give any closure whatsoever. Like my friend Heather said when she recommended the book, this book is just setting the scene for the next two books in the series. Definately an interesting read!!!
