I can see how it would be insightful, but I thought it was kind of weird. It would be a great conversation starter if read in a book club!

Very easy to understand. It was interesting to learn about primitive cultures and how we believe things developed for them. I loved how the author named and talked about the people who made discoveries as if we knew them personally. It helped me think about how amazing these people and what they discovered are.

As far as feelings about high school go, I could heavily relate to the mentality of the main character. Great book!

There isn't a grand moral to the story, but it is funny! A lighthearted and relatable read. And sometimes, that's all you need. :)

WOW. Powerful book about post-partum depression! She is a privileged white woman and she knows it, and it doesn't save her in the end. I'm sure lots of people didn't like this, but I found it to be super powerful.

It was so cool to get to know Anne intimately. She did not hold back when sharing her feelings in this book. It is also interesting to hear what daily life was like. 

The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher

It honestly was kind of a weird casual way for her to say she wishes she wasn't Leia. I mean she enjoyed it, but also didn't want it. The part taken directly from the diaries was super powerful. The book just made me feel weird even if I did enjoy parts of it.
